"My bathroom was transformed!"

"Jenkins and team did a great job of turning my 1950's bathroom into the modern age! Complete with new sub-floor, added support to my current floor joints, and replaced everything with a new bathtub, shower, tile floor, and vanity. The team was very respectful of my home and I'm having them come back for more work in my house soon. "

A Kitchen Remodel in Dickson, TN

From 1938 to Today: A Dickson Kitchen Remodel Story

Some kitchens need a refresh. This one needed a rescue. When the homeowners first walked us through their Dickson home, we stepped into a kitchen that hadn’t been touched since 1938: original cabinetry, outdated wiring, worn flooring, and a layout designed for a very different era of cooking and family life.

Our goal was to turn that time capsule into a modern showcase while respecting the character that made the home special.

What We Changed

Brought everything up to code. Kitchens from the 1930s weren’t built for today’s appliances. We updated the electrical, plumbing, and ventilation so the space is safe, efficient, and ready for modern use.
Custom cabinetry and storage. Shaker-style cabinets with soft-close drawers and smart storage replaced the original built-ins, adding space without clutter.
Durable, beautiful surfaces. Butcher block countertops, and updated flooring give the kitchen a clean, timeless look that will hold up for decades.
Modern lighting and appliances. stainless steel appliances / a new range with a cotton white paint job made the room brighter and more practical.
Kept the home’s character. Preserved original trim / reused vintage elements so the kitchen still feels connected to the rest of this historic house.
